Drive Box

In development: a cooled version for long heavy shifts, hollow aluminium phalanges, two-layer tactile sensors that work like electronic skin, and vacuum suction in the fingertips.

Motors and control electronics are moved out of the hand into a separate box. The hand stays light, does not overheat and runs 20+ hours under load.

Our current tendon-driven five-finger hand: 11 actuated degrees of freedom and 15 underactuated joints. Motors and electronics sit in a separate drive box. Springs made in Latvia, electronics from Korea. Versions with bearings available, adapter flanges for DOBOT, FAIRINO and practically any other robot.

Tendons like muscles

Adaptive grip

Fits any robot

Each finger is pulled by tendons, like human muscles. Motors stay in the drive box, so the fingers are light and do not heat up.

15 underactuated joints let the fingers wrap around the shape of the object, so one hand handles round, flat and soft parts.

Adapter flanges for DOBOT, FAIRINO, BORUNTE, Universal Robots, FANUC, ABB, KUKA and other robots, including humanoids.
